XP Systems has a rich heritage of serving the credit union industry. From joining the Fiserv family in 2000 to our roots as a division of IBM in the 1960s, we have continuously delivered superior products and services to our credit union customers.

Launched in 1968, our online FOCUS Product was introduced and gained wide recognition as the premier online service offering of the 1970s. Our first in-house product, FOCUS ONE, was installed in 1980, followed in 1988 by its successor product FOCUS XP. Our newest in-house product, XP2, represents the best of FOCUS XP functionality and ease of use combined with open, relational database technology and a component architecture.

Throughout our history, dedication to serving our customer’s needs has remained constant. Many employees have been with XP Systems from the outset, offering experience and technical skill unparalleled in our industry. Their efforts, along with the energy and enthusiasm of new team members, enable us to provide the best in service and support to credit unions.

XP Systems has a long list of "firsts" in the credit union industry, including:

First nationwide batch system (1960s).

First system approved by NCUA.

First in-house system designed with a fully recoverable database manager.

First provider of integrated credit card software.

First teller machine interface for proprietary and network ATMs including intercept processing.

First implementation to use IBM RISC System/6000 platform (6/91).

Only system to provide true non-stop processing.

First system on-line with VISA USA.

First Windows-based graphical teller platform.

First system developed around the IBM DB2 Universal relational database.

First system to be based on in-depth collaboration with a credit union customer design team.

Not willing to rest on past achievements, XP Systems has introduced XP2, an open, in-house system that blends the latest Internet architecture with extensive design input from our credit union customers.

XP Systems stands ready to meet the needs of today and the challenges of tomorrow.

"When XP Systems says they're a business partner, those aren't just empty words. They're truths the organization lives by."
